Working for Nokia Siemens
Networks, Anne Larilahti is responsible for policy and regulation issues
regarding environment, and economic impact of ICT. She maintains an active
dialogue with industry bodies, governments and international
organsiations, as well as telecommunications operators across the globe to
achieve a favourable environment where environmentally, socially and
financially sustainable business can be conducted.
Previously, Anne headed the
Envrionmentally Sustainable Business program at Nokia Siemens Networks.
Together with a group of experts around the company she was looking at
combining companys solutions and services with environmental issues,
building an offering that took into consideration both the companys
impact on the environment as well as the normal financial requirements or
business.
Anne joined Nokia in 1996
and has since held various positions in marketing and business
development. She has gained experience both from Mobile Phones and
Networks parts of the company working in Finland and in the Netherlands.
Prior to joining the Environmental Affairs team Anne worked as Head of
Strategy and Market Development in Nokia New Growth Markets team,
attaining insight into social and ecological issues in developing
countries.
Anne holds an MSc (econ.)
degree from the University of Tampere, Finland. Outside the office she
engages in alpine skiing, running and reading. |
