Dr. Bjrn C. Heinlein

Counsel in the Dsseldorf office of Clifford Chance.
Before becoming a lawyer, Bjrn trained as a banker. He advises on all aspects of energy law. A key aspect of his work is the advice with respect to energy related projects, in particular power plant projects, whereas he is skilled from the support of several larger projects in negotiating and drafting project related contracts.

During his work for Clifford Chance he was able to gain practical experience in the electricity industry, esp. in Sales & Trading, while he was seconded to a big German Energy Supply company. Apart from Sales & Trading-related questions and issues concerning the Third Party Access to electricity and gas grids (negotiated and/or regulated), his field of activity covers civil law, antitrust law, public law and contract law.
