Dr. Florian Schmitz

Partner in the Frankfurt office of Clifford Chance.

Florian specialises in information technology law, in particular IT outsourcing, system integration, software development, software licensing, e-commerce law and general commercial contracts.

He has advised on numerous IT projects in the finance and logistics industries. He advises also on IT law aspects of M&A transactions.

He is a member of the German Association for Computer Law (DGRI e.V.).

He graduated from University of Heidelberg (Dr. jur.) in 1998

He joined Clifford Chance in 1998 where he is Partner since 2004

He speaks German, English and French
