Jason Anderson

Head of European Climate Change and Energy Policy

Jason Anderson is the head of European climate change and energy policy at the WWF European Policy Office, leading a team in Brussels and coordinating European policy among a network of offices.

He has written numerous studies analysing European and international energy and climate policy, and is a frequent invited speaker on climate and energy issues. He was a member of several European Climate Change Programme working groups and other advisory bodies and has followed international climate negotiations closely for twelve years.

He was a lead author of the IPCC special reports on ozone and climate interactions and on carbon dioxide capture and storage.

Previously he led the climate programme at the Institute for European Environmental Policy, prior to which he was an energy specialist at Climate Action Network Europe.
