Research Activities
Research activity is
based mainly on modelling and C.A.D. of electrical devices. The scope of
the research is to provide models and numerical methods of computation of
complex devices (motors, actuators, magnetic sensors ) implemented in
C.A.D. softwares. Presently, two sofwares, FLUX2D and FLUX3D, have been
installed in more than 300 companies in the world. The recent research has
been oriented on power systems analysis. More recently we start a research
on power systems and energy under deregulated markets and specially the
development of distributed generation and its impact on distribution
network.
This research lead to 50 PhD thesis, 300 papers in
international journals and conferences, and 32 invited lectures
