Peter Wright
Policy Manager, Strategy & Planning Transport for London Peter Wright is a Policy Manager in Strategy & Planning at Transport for London. Peter jointly led the development of five sub-regional transport plans for London, building on the Mayor's Transport Strategy and the London Plan which set out the integrated approach for the long term planning of London's transport network. In addition to this Peter's team is responsible for developing and reviewing innovative policy tools such as the Central London Congestion Charging Scheme and the London Low Emission Zone. Peter has worked at TfL for more than 5 years, during which he has led on several key policy areas and provided strategic advice to the Mayor's Outer London Commission. Prior to TfL Peter worked at the London School of Economics and the University of Cambridge, lecturing in environmental sciences and GIS, and provided independent policy advice on projects for organisations such as the Home Office, Metropolitan Police and Housing Corporation. |
