Vincent Bousquet

Vincent Bousquet, 46, is a Director of Medasys, a leading French company in the field of clinical information systems for hospitals.
An engineering graduate in computer sciences from the University of Grenoble, he started his career in R&D at Sopha Mdical, a world renowned pioneer in nuclear medicine, where he was involved with the development of advanced imaging systems.
In 1990, he became head for R&D at the military division of CS, an electronics and information technology corporation based in France.
He joined Medasys in 1995, first as R&D manager and became a Director of the company in 1998, in charge of operations and more recently has been given the responsibility of the biology and imaging activities.
He is also a Director of Medasys Ltd., the groups subsidiary in Japan, which he visits frequently.
As specialist in medical imaging applications, Vincent Bousquet has acquired during his career a significant knowledge in the area of clinical informatics applied to hospital requirements.
Classical music, literature and traveling around the world with his three children represent his other interests.
His wife is an investment manager in charge of seed capital for biogenetic start-ups at the Institut Pasteur in Paris.
