Yoshiyaki Ichikawa

Dr. Ichikawa was born in 1955. He received the Bs. Eng. degree in mechanical engineering in 1979 and the Dr. Eng. degree in 1987 from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. He was a senior consultant in Industrial Systems Division of Hitachi, Ltd, mainly providing environmentally conscious management solutions as well as supervising IT systems developments in and out of Hitachi, Group.

He is currently a chief engineer in Corporate Environmental Policy Division, and also working for international standardization in the field of ecodesign as the IEC TC111/WG2 convenor.
